Innovation in didactics

As the dean of the faculty of philosophy and as the rector of the Catholic University of Lublin he conducted reforms of the course of studies, the goal of which was to design more classes that would require students to be more active. It was his idea to have exercise or seminar classes in addition to each from the main subjects. Requiredreading of classical texts in language they were originally written in (Latin, Greek, Sanskrit and so on) has also been introduced. Dialogue and personal contact between students and their professors was his most preferred method. He gave his students as a didactic aid in "conversations" about philosophy available in written or audio form. At his suggestion there were also conversation gatherings made for the staff. He contributed greatly to animating various scientific institutions or circles within the university in order to activate students.
